The new Halo building at Kings Cross, London allows HSL to offer state of the art clinically-lead pathology and diagnostic services right in the heart of London’s Medicity (http://www.medcityhq.com).
HSL and Envair Lab Ltd worked together from the outset of the equipment procurement process, offering concise options to suit the users needs whilst remaining conscious of the projects budget. A wide range of clean air equipment was required including 34 class II microbiological safety cabinets, 2 ducted and 10 recirculating fume cupboards in a range of sizes.
A priority for the Halo building is to provide a working environment which is not only practical but also is aesthetically pleasing. Given the modern appearance of the 34 Comfort Plus SCS EVO safety cabinets provided, they were in keeping with the ultra-modern interior design of the facility. Small modifications such as the height of the stand being altered to provide a working height exactly in line with the benching, allowed a seamless look in integrating the safety cabinets into each laboratory.
Callum Rutherford, Commercial Services commented “working with Envair Lab from the outset of the project has encouraged a strong relationship between HSL and Envair Lab, the cabinets look great and the personnel now using the cabinets have only had good things to say. I would be delighted to work with Envair Lab in future’.
