March 2017 saw delivery of 16, 1.2m wide class II safety cabinets to the Ludwig Institute in Oxford, UK. These cabinets were produced to our client’s bespoke design requirements, including multiple modifications of the exiting SCS Comfort model.
Modifications included: Sealable night door, Steris compatible inlet and outlets and topbox combination for fumigation. Internal double HEPA filter. LED lighting and DC motor upgrades. Modified sash to allow integration of the clients Leica microscope.

This project is a good example of Envair Lab Ltd’s ability to produce reliable bespoke products to suit our client’s applications and preferences. In an increasing number of cases, clients are performing processes which combine complicated methodology and high priority samples, meaning a bespoke design and reliability in the product, plus the ongoing support from the supplier are all of paramount importance.
